It’s a given we women today either shave or wax our pubic region in order to maintain our bikini lines but how many of you out there either shave or wax the cleft of your bottom as well? In addition to regularly trimming his pubic hair, shaving his scrotum and the base of his penis my boyfriend maintains a hairless cleft between his cheeks (I discovered this while giving him a massage the first time we were ever physically intimate). I suddenly felt so naïve and woefully negligent in my self-grooming habits, having never directed any attention to that area of my nethers—would “Jason” be grossed out by the sight of my hairy crack? Not wanting to find out I declined to let him probe, massage that region of my body until I’d had a chance to tidy up my hitherto hirsute bum (had a salon wax last week). I’m extremely curious what your readers have to say as none of my girlfriends has ever broached the subject of grooming that part of the anatomy. Is it possible to blindly shave oneself back there without rendering oneself a bloody mess? Please, do tell!
Why are we trying to make ourselves into hairless creatures?
I can literally think of hundreds of things I would rather be doing than worrying or caring whether around my anus was too hairy.
i just want to make sure we're even talking about the same area here - you do mean the very top of the crack, right?
i've never heard of anyone doing it. i don't really see a reason to either. i'm pretty sure the hair in that region is so fine it doesn't really warrant that kind of work/maintenance anyway.
also, i totally agree with GS - the amount of money we spend on trying to make ourselves hairless is insane... eek! can you imagine how much more money you'd have in your pocket if you didn't have to pay for a razor, refills of razor blades, shaving cream, depilatory creams, and the waxing rate of the several different parts of your body (eyebrows, upper lip, etc)?
it all adds up to be a lot of money. i hesitate to do the math because i don't want to upset myself.
